Not everyone is showing up with the purpose of showing off their cars, many of us are just showing up to hang out and chat. There's plenty of parking for everyone, just make it clear that certain areas are for show, and the rest is the parking for hanging out. I'd rather hang out with RT, his dirty car and his rug rats than with someone who only showed up because there was a no unwashed car rule.

Overall, there really hasn't been an issue and it's sad to see it continually being harped on. The event is a success, I think congratulations are in order, not recriminations!

 

We want people to come out and chat. Just be respectful and if your car isn't there to show, park in the other lot. We've said from the very beginning this was to be an event with a focus. We will have to keep saying it from time to time so that the the gathering maintains the very spirit that we began with in the first place.

Again, some people go through a lot of trouble to drive a long way, clean up their cars, and jump through all kinds of hoops and photographers who want to take great pictures and all of this stuff matters to me and many others. We can't please everyone.

 

I hope you guys let me in I will beg and plead, I just spent huge money on a couple things to add some show appeal to my car.

 

And btw, we also have a dress code at RTC!!!!!

i have to admit, tommy has the coolest varieties and colors of driving shoes that i've seen.

 

Ha! You noticed! I do have a shoe thing. Most are best suited for summer. It's all about the wheels!
