Seeing that a few of us have been getting tickets lately I thought this would be a great idea to start a new thread listing all the known speed traps in the area.

Bellevue area
-112th Ave NE close to NE 12th on the North and South end of Hidden Valley Park
-Cop usually parks on the NW corner of the Bellevue Way and NE 8th St intersection during rush hours.

Freeways
-I-405 North right by 85th street exit (park on the median)
-I-5 North just North of where 405 ends
-I-405 North just before reaching I-5
-I-90 in Issaquah just before the Lake Samammish exit
-I-90 East/West just before the long uphill leading to Hwy 18

I can't think of any more at the moment but when I do I'll update my list. List yours, folks!

Hwy 16 from Tacoma to Bremerton. 4 more State Patrol added just for this area

 

Got pulled over today on 112th Ave SE near Bellevue Way. Very close to the Chevron on Bellevue Way & 108th Ave SE.

 

Ellingson Road in Pacific, WA. Next to the public library & right after the train-tracks as you go over them gotta always slow down to speed limit.

 

I5 federal way overpass
First ave south bridge heading south
I90 over pass just east of factoria
I90 east coming out of western tunnel/highrise -- right at tunnel exit or in the emergency lane on the floating bridge deck
I5 north/south at king/pierce line in the median just north of fife

all using laser

 

Coal Creek Parkway near Forest Dr in Bellevue.

 

Express Lane I-5 South near UW exit, using laser.
I-5 North near exit 183 under/after the bridge.

 

HWY 2:

Sultan
Startup
Zeke's Hamburger Joint to the Index bridge

148th S (bellevue).....next to BCC. at least it was there about 3 weeks ago. and when it flashes the speed you are going in red, it also takes a picture.

I-405 North at the I-5 interchange in Lynnwood - at the bottom of the hill

 

SR 520:
East-Bound: Before the 148th exit, on top of the 40th st bridge and on the left side of the 51st st bridge.

 

405 north/south on the medium at Canyon Park

 

They also park on the onramp coming from 148th just under the 148th street bridge too. They wait for traffic coming Westbound on 520.
