Car lift GB
As it is, I subscribe to Mark's philosophy - it's cheaper to let someone else do it - and a whole lot easier.
If I were single, that'd be it for me.
I new a single guy in Chicago when I lived there that had a rehabbed firehouse in the city... two stall fire house... 3 cars in each bay, fire pole, upstairs was loft like...
he did pretty well with the ladies
he had a way of closing off the floor in the loft around the fire pole... so it pulled double duty
Floor closed -- stripper pole
Floor open -- quick way to the cars
very cool place and the ultimate in city bachelor pad

Yeah, that thought crossed my mind as well, but you have to have all the cash in hand, because the banks wouldn't even dream of giving you a construction loan for such a ****-a-mamy idea.

I was blown away... there is only one firehouse in seattle that I know of that would work and it is on Capitol Hill... right next to a QFC couple blocks east of Broadway and has a video store in the main floor (what a waste)...
I also dig the one near greenlake that is by gregg's... it is not old and cool... but very few in Seattle are...
Chicago is ripe with neighborhood OLD firehouses...
I have been to my fair share of ridiculous houses and to date this firehouse conversion in Chicago takes the cake.
I wish I had pictures...
for in city living there is no better way for the car guy.
He was under 30 and had to fight them off with a stick.
I have never seen one come up for sale in metro Seattle or Portland.
But I believe Troy -- they likely would be very pricey and snatched up by a developer to build townhouses/condos.

Ok, so the GT3 RS looks cool to, but not in the same way.

What about getting a older GT2, or a GT1? They came in white!

I still think the 997's look good
