watch for deer please. they don't play well with Porsches

 

most of this route is going through the desert area. i doubt there's any deer there.

 

here is another section of road we'll be driving. you'll have to be quiet so you don't interrupt the horse meeting.

don't worry, they're fenced in.

 

We saw two dead deer that had been hit by cars today on our way home from Chelan.

ok guys i saw a pic of a 550 Spyder coffee mug someone won.....i'll trade a drive in this for the mug

 

you should have driven that on the tour! i would have awarded you the mug by default for participating!

 

i would have gone but i'm afraid the 6 teenagers at my house all day saturday would have done even more damage

 

there were at least 6 empty passenger seats available.

 

not enough food in eastern washington for 6 of these football players

 

it's nice to drive these cars the way they were meant to be driven. the engine and exhaust notes from two dozen porsches screaming across the countryside was symphonic;

My favorite part was the Spiral Highway also known as the Lewiston Grade Road just outside of Clarkson, WA/Lewiston, ID leading from the bottom all the way to the top of the hill. I managed to go on this road not once but twice. 7.1 miles of perfectly smooth, banked and thrilling road. Easily one of the best roads I've gone on in Washington.
