No fun guy's, I think I have a hernia and I need to go to a doctor ASAP. This is all new to me, so anyone knows what kind of doctor to even see for this. If you do know of a good one who will not just cut on me for the sake of please let me know.

BTW I am in Maple Valley so the closer the better.

I would call Valley Medical Center asap. They'll refer you to an appropriate doctor.

Hope you are ok. Not too common for such a young guy so, I won't ask what you where doing to bring on this condition. They will probably stitch you up with some special teflon sling and send you home, good to go.

 

Nearly every male in my family has had hernias - common in boys. My brother had two! Best wishes with the surgery - get it done asap.

 

Maybe, Just Maybe you are working your men too hard Greta. We now know why that White car is soooooo clean everytime we see it. I can't imagine what your hubby has to do around the house

^^^Well, good news is my husband is the one guy who hasn't had one. Maybe I should work him harder - helps keep him young. I was referring to my biological family. I even have a small hernia right in the middle of my stomach that I have had my entire life.

 

Been there done that.. Get it repaired soon you don't want it to strangulate, then you will in some serious pain my friend..I have a kevlar patch myself.

Thanks all! I went to the Dr. yesterday and they had me scheduled for a CT scan today, ten min before I was to drink the barium when they canceled. The initial synopsis was corect about the hernia but there is probably something else.
