Hi everybody.
I just bought my first Porsche and all I can say is WOW! I came from a heavily modified sti (435 awhp). The 996 isn't nearly as fast in a straight line, but in every other category, there is no comparison. I look forward to meeting people and learning more about these cars.

I hear ya on the HP think, I had a 05 EVO 8, that was just over 300whp. It was fast & fun, but not on par with the total package 911. But I do wish for more HP, & dream of getting a supercharger, with a built 3.8l.

 

I also came from the subaru world over to a p-car. It was the best decision I have made. Have fun and ehjoy it!
