RTGT Garage Tour after C&C on 6/20/09!!!

Talk about coming in under the wire! I just confirmed with Ron Tonkin that the weekend of 6/20/09 after Cars & Coffee at Bridgeport Village in Oregon, we do need to cut C&C a "little" short...but Ron Tonkin Sr has extended a warm Ferrari and Lambo club welcome to come tour his collection at his warehouse museum after C&C. He will be on site as well to share some insight and some history on the amazing cars in his personal collection on display in his private museum. For ANY of you that have never been to this it really is an amazing tour! Open to everyone!

The plan is to depart C&C and caravan to the museum for an estimated arrival time of 9:30-9:45 am...so that means y'all gotta show up on time for C&C!!!

Should be a good time for all! Thanks to Ron Sr, Art, Steve, and Greg for helping me put this together in such a short time frame!

This sounds like a great time. I've never been to the C&C, what time does it start? Is there anything I need to know prior to arriving?

Thanks

C&C at Bridgeport starts at 8am and goes until 10am. Tutu Bene's opens early for us and offers a 20% discount to all club members. Security makes sure the area we use is reserved the night before as well.

The garage tour got moved to the 20th due to some scheduling conflicts and of course, there are half a dozen events this weekend, including the races that are keeping many people from attending....so we can have everyone who wants to attend present, we moved it over to the 20th. Do not need to be a part of any club in order to attend.

So I went to the C&C this past Sat. The weather could have been better but there was still some very nice cars out. I didn't know who anyone was so I didn't meet really meet anybody.
Does anyone plan on going this Sat?

If I get my car done in time, I'll be there in the triple black 997S Cab. Not to many Porsche's show up (but Dennis did bring his white GT2 a couple of weeks back).

Update for this Saturday 6/20/09!!!

OK everyone...just finished all confirmations for this tour...everyone is meeting at Cars & Coffee at Bridgeport Village at the normal time of 8am...of course many of us will be late so no worries! LOL The current plan is to depart C&C as a group, we are working on arrangements to keep the group together leaving C&C through local law enforcement simply because the lights are quick and we have to get through 3-4 of them to get on the freeway. We may take an alternate route to the freeway to allow everyone to stay together, this is yet undecided. We will depart at 9:30ish, cutting C&C short by 30 minutes (I'm sure no one will mind!) and drive as a group to the warehouse/museum. Ron Tonkin Sr WILL be on site to answer questions and share some of his knowledge with the group. You do not need to be a member of any group or club to attend, this is open to everyone with a passion for cars! The address and mini maps will be distributed prior to departure in case anyone gets seperated from the group.
Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend as the weather looks promising and judging by the calls I've been getting, C&C could very well have its biggest turn out yet! See you all there!

LOL LOL LOL Everyone migrates to the coffee shop after about 30-40 minutes & slowly makes their way back...so come say hello, only Wilson bites and he wasn't there last week! LMAO!
