The GT-R did great! He even let Armon drive it. I saw a big grin on his face when he was done.
Over an hour of seat time. $100 total for the day. 5 cars on the track at one time. Every drove hard and it was a blast! We rode in other peoples cars as a passenger. What a good group of drivers. I'm ready to go again. A few spins were done but no track rash, no need to tape off.

Any idea on how the lap times compared with the karts?

Any problems with the banking on the final turn before the front straight? It's a pretty good bank for a kart but maybe not so much in a car.

what happened to the Video I watched? I thought it was on this site. I was running 1 minute laps in a shifter kart so if you watch the video that is no longer here. Time them around the loop to see.

that's not a fair comparison. he never hit the race line

I'd say without a doubt that cars would be 20% plus slower. you don't need brakes in the karts

Bah, I was easily within 2 or 3 meters of the race line most of the time. Here's the same session as seen from my car (in front of Peter's). I overlaid lap times as seen from the video time counter.... all five laps were 1:16 or 1:17. Everybody took it easy so I could keep up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll2kNqCat1g
