New hood for the MINI

I picked up one of those new transparent aluminum hoods, what do you think? I was getting tired of the Lamborghini's and Ferrari's getting all the cool engine viewing treatments.

For real tho! I love that technique with the camera...I've wanted my buddy to do it with my car for a while....first I need to see if he can actually pull it off!?

It is certainly a fun thing to do in Photoshop and it is actually very easy. Essentially you take two pictures, one with the hood (bonnet) up and the other with it down. Then open the images in Photoshop and make one of the images a background layer on the other. Then simply erase the areas desired from the layer with the bonnet down. The image I did took all of 5 minutes.

LMAO. It's a very cool technique, but I think it would merely serve to display the general state of dirtiness in my engine bay!
