Mine is to go back to school! I already have more miles on the Adidas then the poor Cayman. Maybe driving more should be somewhere on that list too?

It's not really a resolution but I plan to continue curbing my spending and staying the course investing / trading. If you have any tips and / or book recommendations please let me know.

Spending more time with family/friends. It seems like I never get to see anyone these days, and it's people that make life worthwhile.

Lol, yeah get short everything from here out! I burned myself so many times over the past few months. Lots of people I know did too. The government and big money financials are all in bed with each other, insider trading is putting it lightly. Obama has Blankfein on speed dial. The country and most of the world has been propped up to deal with modern times. I quit shorting all together. Buy FAZ, as soon as possible, it’s a safe way to short the overall market being that it has a floor of 19ish even into big uptreds which we are all out of btw. Give it a few weeks, or if your patient wait for sub 10k levels. It’s at 19.19 right now. Ill make sure to bump this thread when I’m right. All of the forecasters I listen to have predicted upward momentum (past quarter and half) leading into a trading range (present) followed by a pretty decent retracement (soon to come). Wish I took my own advice a couple months ago.

Thanks for the input. I've just been using long positions so far and have done pretty well (was around 17% up for the year in my self-managed 401K when I checked the other day). My friend from high school suggested trying shorts also (he's now managing a hedge fund with some European partners). So, it'd be nice to get more advice from him too when he has time.

^^ That's a good goal. Shouldn't be too hard for a person with your work ethic, Trevor.
