Feb 20th 6 Speed Lunch thread
Ok guys a certain DDS has requested a Saturday Lunch for our monthly gatherings. Maybe Vic and Tommy's crew might join in after a Erotics gathering up north.
I propose we do it February 20th 11:30am ( It's a Saturday VDDS )
Let's get some suggestions. Maybe this will be a larger gathering. This month we had 13 or 14 on a horrible rainy day in Tacoma. Great job guys on keeping this thing rolling after 1 1/2 years almost
1. Salty's at Alki has OK food and good parking but will be full for lunch crowd. I'm sure they would take a reservation.
2. Newcastle Golf Club. Spectacular view and food isn't bad. Parking excellent tho a Saturday would have a pretty good golf crowd. IDK why the golf course is a F minus if not the worst course in the state.

A drive anywhere would be good about now. If I do not go to Revelstoke, BC that weekend sledding I will be at both.

I'm not sure if Erotics will be happening that day (or if it is just the Belle Pastry event) but here is a trip and lunch spot idea or two:
Snoqualmie Falls
Oyster Bar on Chuckanut (is the road open yet?)
Dukes Chowder House on Alki

Still no other mention of places except Trevor. I don't know that a Feb 20th will be a good time to plan a drive I just figured people from Redmond could hook up. I think late March would be the soonest for any good drive. Bring the wife, girlfriend, boyfriend
Vince I agree with Jason....Always an excuse Not to Join. Give the wife the Black Card and tell the 4 of em to go shopping. AFTERALL you were the reason I picked a Saturday!

Done! I just went to Costco and applied for " the Black Card" (whatever it is). Hopefully it will arrive on time for my ladies to squander.

Hmm, as for places. Yea, Duke's is good at Alki but difficult to park. What about Lake Union, either Joey's or Duke's? Would Southcenter be better for those coming from the south end? I don't think we will mind a drive, even if it is our first E@RTC of the season. I can think of a lots of great places to eat, but great places where it's an easy lot is different. As an example, Palomino in Bellevue is terrific. Another good place is out at Eliot Marina below Palisades, the parking is good and the view is nice. I'm game for just about anywhere. As for Kirkland, there are a few places in the center core of town and parking isn't bad this time of year. Is there anything good down in Renton near all the new stuff that's just gone up?

All of these are at The Landing in Renton exit 5
Of all of those places, I would probably prefer The Rock, their pizza is good.
