Are you in the BMW club now? I just bought an X5 4.4i and not that I plan on rallying it...LOL, but I wondered, can I be a member of the BMW club with it? I'm in the PCA now but I would like to be a BMW member as well. If I do track days with BMW, can I actually bring my pcar? Or does it have to be a BMW?

Yeah, I'm still in the BMW club. You could totally be in the BMW club too. I don't think they even require that you have a BMW. I think they have a deal too with the Porsche club so that members from either club can participate in the other's track days. I saw a GT3 RS at my BMW club HPDE

Okay cool! I'll sign up! I'd love to join both autox and/or lapping days!

Thanks for the info!

And good luck with your beast! Congrats on your project car! I think it looks like a blast!

I would recommend just going wild on it...don't try and tailor it for the track. Do something crazy that you think would be totally wild! It'll cost the same and it will perform exactly how you want...not just fall behind the half-stock M3's on the track.

Supercharged LS1 it is then! Seriously, I'm still considering various options. I'm building a rally car so we'll see.
