Got a ticket by mail this week from a camera loccated in Tacoma on River Road just before you go under I-5 at the enterance to the Casino. Got me and I am sure the Audi that was chasing,lol. 101 bucks and does not go on the issurance so no biggie but is there a way to beat it? I heard since the office signs the ticket but was not there and you can not question the camera it is a violation of our constituional rights and will get dismissed. Any advice. I need to send it tomorrow so any help would be great. The video did look good. We were moving. You can not tell who was driving either from the rear camera either. for those that want to know it was 60 in a 35. Opps.

For $100 yes but I might try the subena cop and hope he doesn't show up gig. I am like 12 and 1 with them not showing up. On;ly place they showed up was in Ellensburg. Cop told me they really needed the cash.

For that low of an amount you know that they are hoping that your just willing to pay it and let it go. Money is less than the time that it would take to contest.

LOL, But I sure hate giving the wicked witch of the west one dollar more. They are usually to cheap to show up as it pays more to write more tickets. Traveling alot and just don't have the time so I guess they win one. I like to atleast make them earn it. It is usually a very entertaining hour while the judge makes you wait to make sure the cop is just not late. With my heavy foot I should at least research the local cams. The footage is dam good too. You didn't even need radar to know we were speeding. Makes it worse because they got a 2fer with the Audi hot on my tail.

 

if you are bored try it out in court... we would all like to know how it works out... make them waste money on sending a cop to court or a camera specialist.. worse comes to worse its still only 100$ ..they cant make it worse just cause u plead not guilty...

 

I personally would just pay for it.
