It's like Roy's but with the big wing...

There are some serious rides that the Treasury is auctioning off. Veyron, Phantom, SV. Then the boats.

interesting -- here are the links that were sent to me

So here's background and where all these toys came from:

http://treas.gov/auctions/treasury/gp/documents/luxAuction_release.pdf

It was owned by Scott Rothstein, he ran a ponze scheme in Florida, bilked investors on $1.2B, plead guilty and now faces up to 100 years in prison.

Normally..In may many experiances with the IRS and US Marshall Auctions..

Stupid money preveals over logic and fair pricing...I will also suspesct that these will go "over" market value for the simple reason of the "history" they carry with them..

Someone with more money then brains...(which I like as it makes the econemy good) will pay up and over for one of these items just to put it in his/her garage and tell the story behind it at one of their Friday nite dinner party's..

Click the "Bid Results" link at the top of the page, and you can open the history of many of the auctions and get a list of what some cars sold for. The more average, every-day cars go for an absolute bargain, but some of the luxury and sport model cars go for average prices.
