I am moving back to Seattle next month and will be bringing a car from out of state... I have done a little bit of research about registering out of state cars in King County, but wanted to know if anyone has had experience with this process.

Please chime in if you have any tips about the registering out of state cars in King County. Any trouble with emissions testing? Thanks in advance.

I did this when I moved up from SF. It really wasn't a problem. I did have a Lancia that didn't have a title, so it had to be inspected by the State Police.

as long as the car has been titled 90 days, you're fine with sales tax, if that's an issue you were wondering about.

it's pretty easy....
