Got rear ended today

So the estimate for my car is $8500+, but the body shop owner told me the claims guy said only $5500 since they want to use aftermarket/used parts from different junk yard TSX's. I'll see what the owner says I should do. This is BS.

DO NOT settle for used or aftermarket parts!
Sorry to hear about this. I had a bad one about 5 years ago that left me laid up for almost 6 months. Lucky my boss was great about it.
