Exotics at Redmond Town Center and drive to Griots is on for July 17!
Another thing about Veyrons- If you see one loading onto a truck, don't assume there are problems. These cars are wicked expensive to drive and it's often cheaper to throw them on a flatbed to get them across town. Some owners only run 100 octane and run their cars until they are out then flatbed them back to a gas station.
In this case, this was a Reliable Carriers 18 wheeler picking up the car, not something you'd see for a mechanical issue and there is no way to easily load a semi in a parking lot. These carriers are usually longer than an average semi and are very difficult to move around any parking lot.
On Saturday August 7, immediately after RTC, you will see another Reliable Carriers semi loading up four or five cars for Monterey on that same spot. Including the record-breaking Ultimate Aero, which will be at RTC that morning.

National Geographic does a very good documentry about the Design, Engineering and Assembly of the Veyron.

They told me that tires cost around $20k for a set of four and expect to go through a set between 6k and 8k miles. They now have a machine in the LA area. You send your wheels down to get your tires. Every third set of tires requires a new set of wheels and they are $30k so you will spend $90k to go between 18,000 and 24,000 miles in the car. All other service is now included but with a car costing $1.8-$2.0+ million depending on model and options, that's still a giant number.
Nice little drive (on the way home...I can skip I-5 traffic in the Ariel) and great excuse to see a major impressively facility. Three cheers to Richard for a new car mecca right here in the NW!
Very good article from 2008. Richard shared this story with us on Saturday during the tour. He is a very strong family man for sure!!!!

Makes me wonder how anyone could drive that kind of car into a lake like that one guy did in FL or where ever it was.
