When is the next 6speed event at the Karting track at Pacific Raceways?

I'd like to know too. That is definitely the best track around.

I'm happy to organize if there is enough interest. We are coming up quickly on the rainy season, so we'll need to get this done in September.

Please raise awareness and post here. If we can get enough interest, I'll reach out to Paul and set a date. Understand though, that this will be a weekday. I'll look into a weekend, but it's normally hard to get a group big enough to make the event work. I'd expect a cost of about $110.

No experience necessary, but I normally put experienced people together. I'd set this up as a charity event so any profit will go to a good cause.

Okay, I sent Paul a note at PGP.

 

Never been to one of these, but sounds like fun. Depending on what day in September is available I may be in.

 

I just can't think of a more fitting use of my 1000th post, than for it to be about doing a track day!

Okay, so far in about 24 hours, I've had about 5-7 people give me the sense that they are interested. Paul's calling me back tomorrow and we'll discuss dates.

I'd say this is past the "likely" and into the planning stages. I'll open a different thread in a day or two with the top post being the information etc (so I can update it). I'll have a sense of dates and cost then too. IF you have input on the dates, please let me know. I'll check back here, or send to me email.

The last time we did a track day, it was a two half day setup, like a morning session and afternoon session. I'd be interested in doing this as I don't think I can do a whole day out there.

Obviously you got to schedule what is best for the group and what is available at Pacific Raceways. Hers is how my September looks...

Days off (available entire day)
Sept. 7, 8, 13, 14, 19, 20, 25, 26

The following days I'm not available at all...
Sept. 12, 22, 23, 27

The rest of the days I am available for an afternoon session. I get off work at noon on those days. I may be able to get off earlier if need be.
