Help on a sales consultant
Help on a sales consultant
Hi Guys: Trying to help out a friend who is looking for a caymanS at Barrier. I bought my '09 C4S at Barrier with Steve Cho, but was surprised to see when I was there last weekend for a service that he is no longer there
...after serving for over 10 years. I saw all new faces on the sales side. Anyone has had good experiences with anyone else out there. Stephen Hackett (who was not there that weekend) has always greeted me with a smile and I know that he is not new. Any feedback would be appreciated. I may also be needing some assistance there shortly..

How coincidental...when I was checking out their inventory in the showroom, Brad said hi and showed us around a few panas and cayennes. He appeared quite pleasant.
Have your friend walk in and say out loud, “I’m looking to buy a car today!”. Everyone in there will be his friend since they are in the business of selling cars. I bought a Cayman from Stephen H. and can say he really went out of his way to make the experience good. I found a small dent post sale in the fender and he had it taken care of even though post sale issues are not their liability. Also provided a good consult when the keys got locked up front in the trunk. Barrier Porsche in general is a great place with staff to match.

I was speaking generally. After all, auto sales numbers were just recently released, and believe me every auto dealer could use it right now. That goes for high end down to the mundane. Its still very much so a buyers market.

They could careless about my business in Sales so I don't go, but hell I don't buy much I can understand.
Jeff's crew in Service is a different story. Too much $$$ but he is right on it.

At least that's been my experience especially with those new guys.
more like they can see a sucker coming from a mile away!
You shouldn't be so hard on yourself.

I think Mark needs to go in there one day and say he's looking for a four door, with AWD, and make it bright yellow! They might actually get some use out of that defibrillator behind the receptionist’s desk.
Getting back to the op’s point. If Steve Hackett is there deal with him. He really worked with me on the car to make sure I was pleased (Got it for a great price too since it was the previous years car). He even offered to buy me lunch when I brought the car in for its first service. He is a real car guy to boot. When I brought up my old 16valve 190e, we talked cars for probably an hour as he used to own one. He also was willing to help me look for a special car I was having trouble finding used. Stand up guy, but believe me they don’t employ anyone else at their Porsche dealership. They are still sales people nonetheless although some of them play it coy.
