You're welcome to come with us next time. We could have used a 4th person to drive to get some moving shots! And none of us used a tripod. I rarely use them on my photo shoots.

COOL! Can't wait.

YOU might not need a tripod, but I might. I also got a cool wireless remote, it works great on our X-mas photo this year.

There are remote controlled trains in that area, I work for that company, isn't a good idea to park on the tracks, actually is pretty stupid no matter how good u r with the camera you'll never beat a train. Just for future reference.

Thanks for the reference. I kept a VERY close eye on things the entire time I was actually on the track.

Thanks for the warning, but i looked at those tracks and it looked like they had not been used in quite a long time. Plus, the track ends into a building about 50-100 yards behind the cars. If a train was approaching fast enough that we had to worry about it hitting the cars, it would have had bigger problems slowing down enough so it didn't plow into the building behind us.

We got together today for some more shots

No more yellow pinstripes

Here you can see they used two different types of yellow vinyl stickers for the stripes

The black scud looks way better without yellow pin strip on the wheels. Very nice pictures and thanks for sharing!
