Ridiculous, how about going after the trucks blocking the passing lane?

112 traffic stops in 4 hours of patrol? That seems ridiculously high if that was all from one patrol officer riding along in a semi and relaying violators' information... that's nearly one traffic stop every two minutes!

Every cop I've talked to about traffic patrols says that they over lookmany of the traffic violations they see on a daily basis and only nab the most egregious violators. For this road-rage operation, WSP must've had a lot of cars on patrol allowing the officer in the truck to simply call the shots.

Ha ha that news reporter was a dumb ***. And I quote:

"If you are not convinced, here is something troppers and truckers will tell you. Your car might weight, who knows, somewhere around 2000 lbs, give or take. A rig like this loaded up can weigh 100,000 lbs."

Always a good idea as a reporter working on a scare piece to grab facts out of your ***. Way to go reporter. You pulled those facts out so far up you could have made diamonds.

The way that I have viewed it most of the time is it is the truckers who are the aggressors or not paying attention. I like how the trucker in the piece was crusing in the left hand lane. That a way to follow proper traffic law when you are pulling people over. Would be nice to see how many of these tickets would actually stick if the accused were to obtain a traffic attorney... Love how so many law enforcement districts are "assisting" us with proper driving all the while passing out so many tickets it is obsene. It is not the officers, it is their bosses and the quotas that they don't "officially" enforce... I am sure that it is just pure coincidence that they did not stop until they wrote EXACTLY 100 tickets. Their boss to them, "You don't have to give out over a 100 tickets on this patrol, but don't expect a promotion in the future if the numbers on this don't pan out to something I may have just mentioned."
