Carbon fiber
The other day I managed to hurt my CF front lip on my MCV. Hopefully the insurance will take care of the replacement but I was thinking to do something with the old damaged piece, fix it and keep it for a spare, as a garage display for now and if needed later on reuse it. The extent of the damage isn't major, the insurance adjuster suggested maybe fix the CF lip and paint it to match the rest of the car, not a bad idea IMO and keep it as spare for future. Also want to install, once everything is replaced, front bumper parking sensors to prevent such events. Any good shop you guys might know for this?
Also one of the wheels needs replacement, part of the same claim, but I want to fix the damaged one and keep it for spare tire and wheel since mine didn't come with spare kit. Any recommendation for this particular item?
thanks.

If the lip is not CRACKED and the CF is not exposed, it's an easy fix. Hard to tell without pics but you can easily wet sand and respray clear and wet sand again and buff. It will look like new. I've done this on my CF lips.
The wheel, depending on the damage can be resurfaced at a wheel shop. If it's bent or cracked, forget it.

I did talk to Derek today, he seems to be very knowledgeable and not afraid to approach any challenge so I'll give them a visit once I have the parts. Also talked to him about adding front bumper parking sensors integrated with the existing system the car already has and match the car color. Thanks again.
