Snoqualmie Ridge

We are thinking about buying a second home (primary residence) in Snoqualime Ridge. We are drawn to the scenery and surrounding nature.

Does anyone live there? Any issues with that area? How do you like the community?

I live just beyond Snoqualmie Ridge down in the valley, but I really do appreciate getting out of the city and to the far less congested area. I was raised in eastern WA though, so have always been comfortable living away from the concrete and business of the city.

Having spent some time up there in the neighborhood you're talking about, I can say that the feel is very friendly, but also a bit congested for commuting down to the I90 on-ramp in the morning. I'm not familiar with their crime rate per se, but I receive a local paper that has a police blotter for both cities and the crime rate appears to be quite low up there too. Most of the health emergencies and drama surround the nearby Snoqualmie Casino, which of course attracts all kinds at all hours.
