On my way home from my B day dinner , Car cleaned up for tomorrow Porsche show and BAMMM!

Truck in front of me so I could not see the road, Hit a big *** rock in the road and blew out front left tire and bent my rim bad !!!!

Anyone know where I can get a 997 Turbo wheel STAT ?

I went back this morning and it was no rock, Turned out it was a natural gas cap . Freshly paved area and the workers did not put the cap back in the ground. Called and filed a police report. Took pics ETC , What a B-day present.. LOL

 

Sorry to hear that MJA... Dam worker that forgot to put the cap back... Shame on him. Still... Wish you a happy Birthday! If you need a Turbo wheel... check on eBay... There are a few sellers out there that sells them individually. Cheers

 

Thanks for the words, Turns out this is a good time to get me a new set of aftermarket wheels.. Filing claim with DOT on Tuesday. All documentation is ready to be turned in..

 

Sounds great! I also tend to think that every bad luck that happen with our cars (even though we hate it when it happens!) is a good opportunity to upgrade or mod

I saw MJA's gorgeous 997TT today at E@RTC and didn't even notice any wheel issues (hadn't seen this thread yet). What did you get?

The stock wheel was destroyed thanks to PSE. Claim process now with them
