Guys, I'm currently working on a automotive base television show for a public access channel and our first show is slated for the first week of April...any suggestions on topics? or any big events going on in the local Tri-State area? besides the auto show. Runs? charity events and etc.

The show will only cover local events within the tri-state area.

Automotive programming in the Northeast is a challenge this time of year. That's why we keep shooting in CA and FL... and TX... and AZ... and NV... and... you get the idea!

 

Completed by the first week of April.....tell me about it, so last minute.... Ours will be nothing like yours.

A great event you should check out is the Exotics Rally Spring Sprint taking place on April 13th. Although it doesn't fall within the time frame for the first week of April, it would be great for a future episode. I don't wanna hate, but you're starting taping within 2 weeks and you're looking for ideas for your first show?
Damn dude, I have about several dozen, they're even written down, but between work, home, wife and kid I have no time to do this.

Here is an easy one... do an educational bit about the 997; differences b/w it and 996 and other gens of the Carrera. Show the differences between each model, technical and specific... why is there a C2, a C4, a C2S and a C4S?
What is a GT3 and if it's slower than a TT why would anyone buy it if it costs more? Go into the GT3, define what makes it special, compare it to a GT2,...


... just of the top of my head.

DON'T... say "yo, this one has mad phat rims yO"... but go into why bigarse over-weight wheels demish performance. Conduct a quick interview w/ vehicle owners, don't do burnouts or anything else that's dumb, everyone knows these cars are fast... but heck, drive one to Englishtown and see what you run with it... describe the reason why chose do a 1/4 mile run and what results it shows.

Damn it... I need to quit my job and get my own TV show/website/magazine, whatever.

Why are you doing this? For money? To have 15 min of fame? What's driving you? Is it passion? Then you'd know what to do.
