Good to see everyone this morning... Kudos to Oxygen for organizing this! Unfortunately, nobody could have anticipated that road block we ran into. It must have been blocked for a while - I actually saw people sitting on lawn chairs, waiting for them to re-open the road. Not sure how the rest of the run went - hope you guys had a great time...

Arcnphat and I took a detour through Merrick and drove out to the grand opening event of Universal Autosports in Glen Cove. Don't get too many chances to see an MC-12, the P4/5 and a Koenigsegg CCX at the same spot.

I'll be posting some pics from this morning later on today...

 

Did you guys catch any of that rain which started coming down around 1:30?

I had video (red m6 convertible). The group got broken up pretty early on though, but I will post what I have tonight or tomorrow. Good run though, my group )most of the BMW M's( ended up going past a cop and him calling ahead on rt 27 and us turning around to play it safe.

 

I ended up going out to Montauk with Carbon (Orange Turbo) and saw NO one!!
We were the 1st ones there.. around 11:00 AM.

 

We were still 30 miles out from Montauk around 1130. I was running out of time so I had to leave the group after we saw the trooper phone ahead. Did anyone else catch a glimps of the orange GT3 RS going east on 27 on the way back?

Great meet today guys, I'm just confused as to how there were 60+ people interested and only 30 something show up. The whole Corvette on fire on the bridge screwed everything up. Half of the pack went down the Meadowbrook the other half went down Wantaugh Pkway. The turnout wasn't too bad alot of late showers... and 6 cars managed to make it to Montauk. Mill road was a blast.

Thanks to that corvette on fire I got to turn around with everyone and then race two F 430's going out the other exit. so a bit THANKS to chevy for building **** cars.

 

We caught no rain watsoever. Is that why you didnt come? You thought it would rain?

 

I did. I also had the pleasure if being skull ****ed by a 2007 or 8 GT2 down the 10 mile stretch to the lighthouse. That thing was amazing. It was black. I hung behind him til about 110-115 then he disappeared.

Gorgeous car.

 

Anyone catch that State Trooper who pulled over that Sport Bike on the Causeway???....There were a pack of cars that drove past me...and the sport bike....lights went on....they I see everyone pulling a "Uie"....Trooper tagged the Biker
