Ever since the movie "The Glass House" were the father of the new family drove a Jaguar XKR Silverstone I have been infatuated with these cars. I drove an XK8 Convertible once and it wasn't anything special at all but these cars to me are one of the best looking cars ever built. How do you all feel about them in terms of cost, performance, reliability, fun factor and maintenance?

Here is a 2002 Jaguar XKR

I believe you have to be over 60 to purchase one and must also sign a contract promising to have a license plate relating to golf.

In all seriousness, I think they're decent looking cars but very boring. If I'm going to spend that much on an impractical 2-seater coupe (I believe it has a backseat but uselessly small), I want it to be very fun and very sporty. If you're looking for a gentleman's cruiser, it'll fit the bill. Though, it's not what I'd choose.
