whats the best way to hook up your Ipod. i don't believe the truck has this capability stock.

Whats the best route to take

You can buy the adapter from LR. OR, the easiest thing to do is use the Aux jack in the back seat/back of the center console to run a mini RCA to the iPod.

I was under the impression they all have it by the seat warmers and lighter on the back.
