I almost got the 2012 RRSC, but with the rumor that the new one might be here by fall, I am waiting. The new one is supposed to be almost 1000lbs lighter
Hopefully they will have improved a few things like; keyless entry, nav traffic,
better mpg.
The dealer does not know anything yet and wont discount more then 1% off the cars they have now.
Anyone have more detailed info on the release?

 

900lbs less certainly is attractive. Having said that, one can (as of now) realize both performance AND mileage gains with a tune & blower pulley upgrade.

Another thing, we don't know what the new one will look like quite yet. The overall shape will remain, but there will be some changes. I would like to see an integrated tail hatch solution, like the RR Sport has. I'm not keen on the RR SC tailgate & lift window. Not a deal-killer, just preference.

I have heard there won't be a 2013 release for awhile yet. Don't hold me to it, but it sounded like late this year, if not Q1+ 2013.
