Thanks for the Japanese Forums
I guess I'm one of the weird ones who just likes cars from all over the place. I've had American, Japanese, German, Italian and
Canadian.
My S2000 is still my favorite though. Even thought the wifey thought I should sell it after getting the C2S - I can't just part with it.

lol... The S2000 is no supercar. Even a 500+RWHP S2000 because they become undriveable.
A stock NSX or Supra IMO isn't a supercar either. I'm sure I'll get flamed for that but what they hey...
Part of what I love so much about the S2000 is going faster than other much faster cars at the track though. Something very delicious about that.
Right now the only somewhat mass produced Japanese supercar is the GT-R.

The S2000 is one of my favorite cars of all time because of its track performance and weight. I am just curious because I have two Japanese cars that could beat up on most any "supercar" but they didn't come stock as "supercars." I would like to start threads on them, but not if thats not what this forum is going after.
If this particular forum is limited to just supercars - it will be pretty dull until the next generation NSX, Supra etc... come out.
IS-F is cool - but no supercar.
Post away! 400-500awhp Evos and STi's can be really fast in a straight line and at the track.

I'm in agreement there aren't many Japanese supercars but this is a Porsche site. Only the Carerra is a supercar. The others are sport cars.
This means the Heading of this section shouldn't have been labeled "supercar" in the first place.
My Lexus cars are definitely not supercars but it would seem appropriate to discuss them in this section occasionally. Even better, NSX's and Supra's would definitely seem appropriate imo. But we can't talk about them eclusively cause things would become boring. Those cars have other sites for exclusive posting. So let's not get into a pissing contest over whats good or not good to post. The S2000 is definitely a sports car. Sounds okay to me to discuss. If it's modded, I wanna see lot's of pics.

The NSX, Supra, RX-7, R32-R34 GTR et.al. however were built with supercar humbling foundations... they all just need a few (cheap) modifications thrown at them to get (well) beyond the 280hp limit that restrained them.
I also agree that there aren't many japanese "supercars" per say. The new GTR can probably be put in that category. However, I definitely enjoy S2Ks, Evos, STi's, and the likes as they are just fun cars and can be deceptively quick. Someone wanted pics, so here's a pic of mine: By far, no supercar, but I still enjoy it.
