hey all whats up? since im bored and i like whoring my whips from time to time i guess ill throw it up on here for a new crowd lol

this is my 87 mazda RX7 TII ive had for.....5 ish years now. bought it from a buddy of mine, only thing done to it were some 17" wheels that were heavy as rosie odonel....each...lol some cut front springs (yes just the front ) and a boost gauge hooked into the wrong vac. signal...so needless to say i got a good deal on the car becasue no mater what the prev. owner did it would not boost past 4psi!!!

anyway i got it after i started building my 240 to drift in the local series, well i got behind the wheel of her and fell in love....sold the 240 project and drifted her.....at the end of the season i ended up blowing the coolant seal. so the rebuild began....but since i dont have enough common sense i bit off more than i could chew and started building a beast!!!!! so here we are 4 years later and shes finally almost ready to run lol

now the build over time has faded from its original drift car target and is now being built as an all around fun car to DD in the summer and enjoy!! i no longer drift as i am now road racing motorcycles and that takes up all my time and money (also y this is a 4 year project amongst other reasons...) so please enjoy and hope to have some more to post soon!!

nice project. dont know how well it will fare with the crowd here! so is 2 wheel season over up in cheese land? we have similar interests.. any chance you have the OE mirrors for my AE86?

hehehe yea shes done, get to rip the bikes apart and refresh them for next year....or do some travelin to warmer climates! lol

Not bad at all. FC is actually a pretty good platform for drifting. My friend worked his old FC into a nice drift car.

 

well after a little tinkering i got.....



just a few more nuts and bolts to come together and ill be able to take her out the garage and let her clean herself out!!! not sure on how many rotary heads are on here, but i ATFed her a couple times, thats only after litterally a second of running!!

and im sure everyone here is aware, but just incase....NEVER do like me and use a eBay mani for ur temp soulution before figuring out your set up!!! IT IS THE WORST!!!! lol way too much work for a mani that ur sure will crack on u!!! hopefully it will last till i make up my mind though!!! lol

 

What kind of body mods are coming up?

 

not sure yet....i keep goin back and forth between a wide-body or not and id like the get the rea front end but 2k for aero is a little outlandish for me lol so im thinkin of a bn sports (probably knock off lol) areo kit and then weather or not i go wide body...but for sure the color will me the midnight purple pearl from nissan....or a variation of it....would like to add some cf here and there, and wing im thinkin of stayin with the oem....

well still dont have much for pics....but i have taken a HUGE change in course with the project. realizing that drifting will never get the attention from me that i built this car to obtain i decided i wanted something with a stereo, interior, and heat/a/c sooo instead of spending countless hours searching for every bit and piece and paying the inflated prices for black interior bits i just went and bought a new car!! lol i picked up a white on black convertable a few weeks ago and have been driving it around na for a while as my daily driver took a crap on me and im still sourcing the replacement engine for it....

also my camera broke so all i got is my cell.....and a couple of the dealer pics....hope top be borrowing a cam soon to get some good shots though!!
