I've seen them go in to the 240SX's from time to time.

Although I am bias to Japanese cars, I would advise you, if you are dead set on doing a swap, to go with an GM LS motor. The all aluminum design will save you close to 200 pounds over the iron block, you be able to make all the power you are looking for and your handling characteristics will stay in check. Also, I believe that the LS motors are able to sit lower in the engine bay, enabling a lower center of gravity in the front of your car.
Different power bands for different applications... It just all depends on what the car is being built for. For the person with the blank check, let your fantasies run wild.

My Dream is coming true

Ok i found my way to this forum trying to check my own thoughts and ambitions, and have only benn more inspired and encourged this far. I am currenty moving from florida back to germany where my 98 r34 is been watched by my brother in law for the last decade, bought it from a cherry for 7k cause he needed rid of it nuff said. Any im going back and i think i wanna scrounge up a 1998 uultimate 100 s2k and repupose the r34 subframe, both units being RHD getting rid of internal issues i was trying to work around already, the swap as far as the nubers are playing out are 800ish lps lighter off the rip still might even go tube frame, trying to figure out decent front axles that will possibly fit from an AWD Datsun or FIAT setup. Ill strat a build page at the onset, i love the support and realistic support
