Its been awhile..

I been quite busy with car stuff lately and kind of forgotten to update this..

Couple of news to start..

My plasti dipped car is featured on current (April 2014 issue) of Import Tuner Mag! So please pick up a copy at a local magazine rack..

I've been following your build for awhile now, I must say you do love your rotaries. I'm planning to purchase an FD as well in the near future. Simply inspirational.

I was picked as a booth car for Takata USA as their booth car for Formula Drift @ ATL, GA. So, decided to do something bit more wild for the event.

Well, after over a year with plasti dip on my car, I've decided to peel it and do some detailing of the car.



Friend of mine started a detailing product company in Florida called, 'Stay Fresh Car Car' (http://www.stayfreshcarcare.com/) and I used their products to detail my RX7.

Before detailing - little bit of haze to the clear.

Products worked really well. Easy to apply, easy to remove, and smelled great too!
I would highly recommend giving their product a chance!

Than did a track day at local track (Barbers Motorsports Park).


Finally.. Bumpers from Japan.


Both far as I know, first in USA.. Knightsports Type-7 bumper and Scoot Bumper. Painted by one of the best painter in the country, Jonathan Goolsby @ Goolsby Customs. They are the one who did all the body and paint work on my 3 rotor RX-7.

 

This build thread keeps getting better and better. Keep up the good work.

 

Update..

I finally got my stuff that I ordered from Japan couple of years ago here in USA.. One of the thing I got were these super rare Rays Engineering/Mazdaspeed MS-01 Magnesium wheels.



Put some Toyo T1-Sports tires on them.


I also got the newest Knightsports Type-7 bumper painted by one of the best body shop in USA, Goolsby Customs.



paint quality the reflection is amazing.. Definitely worth every penny to get them to paint!
