Big Turbo STi Heads to One Lap Of America
"Two well-bearded young men will be competing in the Tire Rack.com/Brock Yates’/One Lap of America this year with a heavily modified 2000 Subaru Impreza RS Coupe under the team name RMF Motorsports.
If you are unfamiliar with One Lap of America, here is a quick breakdown of how it works. Basically, it’s a rally. Entrants leave the starting point and use public roads to gather at a designated event location, usually a race track. Teams compete for the best time in autocross, drag, and hot lap events. The cars have to be driven to each event using public roads. The teams are not allowed any support crews of any kind. The teams only get one set of tires to use throughout the competition. The One Lap events have been as large as 10000 miles, but more recently have been around 3000 miles. This year’s event will take competitors through fifteen states."
