As they say, this is what makes horse races. I finally saw one in person at our local introduction and I loved the looks.

 

I was at the Panamera Autocross in San Fran. last friday, and got to drive and ride in the turbo with a Porsche Driving Experience instructor doing hot laps.

Let me just say, this Turbo is totally insane!!! And how does it feel like in the back seat, an experience to remember. No turbo lag detected, just brute force taking off from standstill to a point you can get dizzy back there. I loved it and was all smiles. I am being totall honest here, it felt so much faster than my 997.1 turbo.

Overall, a wonderful FAST sedan.

 

I've seen a few here in the bay area, they do nothing visually for me.

ok. I have had a chance to drive this beast around a track a few times and it is amazing. Actually, so is the S. Acceleration is impressive thanks to the pdk which makes up for the weight.

I can only imagine how fast the new 997turbo will be with pdk, but I am betting high 10's. The PanaTurbo is truly a car to drive, but the 4S is nearly as capable in all but acceleration area and even then it is no slouch. Great car.
