Holy crap
Car & Driver just tested the Panamera Turbo; 0-60 in 3.3s and the 1/4mi in 11.7s!
that is faster than a stock 997.1 Turbo Cpe; PT has to be one of the fastest sedans on the planet!

Highs: Scary fast, Bentleyesque interior, as visceral as an abattior.
Lows: Bizarre shape, poor rearward view, base price of $133,395.
The Verdict: More 911 Turbo than a luxury sedan. But, hey, is that a bad thing?
"On at least three points, our drivers reached consensus. First, the Panamera is the spiritual successor to the 928 in the way that Christopher Buckley is the spiritual successor to W. F. B., Jr.: related in name but not so much in philosophical purpose. Second, the Panamera is handsome from a front three-quarter view but otherwise is an ovoidial festival of lava-lamp lumps. Third -- and most crucial -- this isn't a luxosedan. It's luxurious, oh, God, yes, is it ever. But it's a sports car that happens to have two roomy rear seats. No BMW 7-series or Benz S-class is as gutsy, as connected, as prejudiced toward instant-gratification agility and white-hot velocity. So you might call it a "tweener". You might call it wonderful."

PDK is changing the game.

The PDKs are killing these 1/4mile times, not that Porsches need to be fast in a straight line...

3.3 seconds and it doesn't void your warranty. Simply amazing.
