Hello everyone, while I haven't officially picked up my Panamera Turbo yet, I will be doing so on May 8th. I visited the dealership today to look at my future car, and I posed a question to my dealer about an "overboost" function with the sport chrono option. Unfortunatly, he didn't know much about the package, so I was wondering if anyone out there knew if the Panamera Turbo with the sport chrono package has overboost?

 

For the Panamera Turbo, increased power output is a matter of principle. The same applies to the optional Sport Chrono Package Turbo. Typifying the Turbo philosophy, it not only combines all the functions of the Sport Chrono Package Plus – it adds one more: overboost.
Imagine you are accelerating at full throttle with the Sport Plus button selected. Boost pressure is temporarily increased by up to 10 percent, which considerably increases the maximum torque that the engine is able to produce. Instead of the normal 516 lb.-ft., the overboost function generates a torque of up to 568 lb.-ft. for a limited period, and a feeling of satisfaction that lasts much longer.

can't believe these guys are selling these things and don't even know about their product?

there are only 5 f##king cars in the whole line up
