The next time you hail a cab in Germany, don't be surprised if you're greeted by a Porsche Panamera Turbo.
Outfitted in the compulsory light beige ivory color with a roof sign and a taxi meter, the €160,000 Panamera - lovely dubbed the Taxamera - is probably the fastest taxi in the world.
While the idea sounds crazy, it kind of makes sense. The Panamera has spacious seating and a large luggage capacity. Of course, there is a downside: with all-wheel drive and a 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS) biturbo 4.8-liter V8, the Panamera has a combined fuel consumption of 12.2 liters per 100 km (23.2 mpg UK / 19.3 mpg US).

I was in amsterdam and there are tons of mercedes taxi as well.

ha ha I actually like the color. It is quite different from what you usually see. Would be scary if the cabbies in NYC started to use these...

On a side note I know this is a bit of sacrilege, but Ford has a color somewhat like that. It is called Creme Brule, but it doesn't look that great on their cars though I have a friend who had it and I called it dirty dish water.
