i believe it to be honest ... its not Bull**** or what ever comments u guys shared we all Porsche lovers and fans but i in the first beginning thought about this and believed like Porsche will lose if it didn't change the 4.8 engine and get some thin bigger and stronger to keep here up with here competitors Audi RS6 5.2TT v10 and the cady 6.2 supercharged engine now the new M5 is coming on the way and the new 63 turbo charged engines from AMG

HaroldCGT is infamous around these parts
I'd still take the Panamera Turbo over any Cadillac regardless of what some meaningless drag race in the middle east shows.

I've driven both. Stock for stock, that won't happen. Don't get me wrong, I love the CTS-V , but it won't stand a chance against a Panamera.

Surprisingly, the CTS-V traps higher in the 1/4 mile than the Panamera (119 vs 118), which means that from a roll, the CTS-V 'should' be faster.

However, that's the only area it comes close a Panamera, IMO. They are on 2 different planets. The Panamera, is superior in ever other way imaginable.

Didn't know that. I guess my butt dyno needs recalibrating. However, I agree they are on two different planets. I truly believe its worth twice the CTS-V's price.

Because of the PDK and launch control the Panamera feels much faster and is much faster 0-60 and to the end of the 1/4 mile. The CTS-V because it has more power does trap higher making the outcome we saw from a roll possible. It would be very difficult on a twisty road to even stay in eyesight of a Panamera in a V even though I love the V! However for the price of a Panamera you can get a new GTR and a used V!

Base to base I think the Pan is over 2x the price of the CTS-V.

If they had put AWD on the CTS-V wagon then I might have thought about it, still might even though it doesn't compare otherwise to the Pan Turbo.

Two different cars completely, for the price difference I can imagine you could redo the interior of the V in fine leather, retrofit AWD , and have a mini 4 seat Veyron!

But I can only imagine what the Panamera is capable of with more boost, different turbos and a built PDK!
