PDCC. Can I live without it?
when it was intro'd on the Cayenne, a number of the car magazines concluded that the PDCC simply disconnected the machine too much from the driving experience when driven in real world conditions.
that exrta layer of insulation was one of the reasons i dumped my CTT with PDCC. i bought it thinking it was a must option because in the cone shots on the web, it was so flat. i guess i didn't find myself driving in too many cone situations around town and the highways.
i will always concede though, abrupt lane changes were fun with PDCC

I wonder if that Pepper had PDCC?
Hi guys,
I am looking at a 2010 Pana 4s. Its white on blk full leather, sport chrono plus, sport exhaust, air suspension... All the options that I would have ordered. HOWEVER, it is lacking for one option that I really like, the PDCC. I really like to drive a car which can give me so much confidence on corning. Do you guys know if there's any way to make the car feel like it has PDCC aftermarket? Like sway bars or anything?
Someone please chime in if they have driven both cars with and without PDCC back to back. What's the main difference in terms of driving feel?
Thx in advance!!
Cheers,

Cheers,
I've driven both and after serious consideration finally bought my PTT without PDCC.
I'd say the PDCC one feels more stable in high speed cornering, but there is a clear artificial feeling to it, which made me want the one that feels more natural. I simply sensed that without PDCC I could feel in a "normal" manner when the car's roadholding was getting to the limit, while with PDCC I felt seriously disconnected from that feeling.
Again, that is just me, I love much more sports cars than large sedans, and I got the the PTT specifically because it gives me the sports car feel in a large sedan.
People considering the car more as a sexy sedan than for its sportier side or looking for maximum safety features would surely think the other way.
Of course I got the Sport Chrono option, and with suspension on Sport/+ setting even without PDCC the Panamera's handling is simply amazing for anything of this size (besides my 6spd 997TT, I own a CL600, and had in the last decade both the E39 and E90 M5s, a 750 and an A8).
