Panamera with bike

A while back, I saw a post with a road bike in the cargo of a Panamera, but couldn't remember if the front wheel needed removed or not. Search was a bust. Any insight would be great. Am I correct to assume the luggage cover would need removed? I ride a 56cm which is a fairly medium size - any reason it wouldn't fit?

Thanks. A mountain bike even. Looks like there may even be a little room to spare.

If you fold down both seats the bike goes in w/front wheel on. If you are like me, and have a baby seat, then you fold down the other seat and take off the front wheel. Very easy and convenient.

Road bikes are often more of a problem to fit into cars than mountain bikes. Just remember to put your bike in, with your drivetrain facing up. You wouldn't want to get a nice chain print on your carpet. It also can bend your hangers causing you to shift poorly.

I have been a full time bike mechanic for 7 years now.
