Center Consol and raddle...

Does anyone else notice that their center console lid is loose and can rattle at times if your arm isnt pressed down on it hard enough..

Also noticed today that a small rattle sounds like its coming from the dash when I accelerate and hit small bumps.

Also when idled at a light the car likes to shake a little every once in a while kind of like im in a muscle car...

Am I paranoid or did Porsche want this to be a Muscle car haha

I wouldn't put up with that in a freaking 50k car let alone a panamera!

Can you be more specific?

Well if you push down on the top of the front door sill right where the window meets the back pillar, you will see that there is some "give" there. Quite frequently this assembly makes vibrating/rattling noises and when you push down on the door sill with your hand it stops. This is especially maddening when I am playing music on my very expensive Burmester system.

Also, the olive wood panels often audibly vibrate when I play music or hit bumps.

Mind you I am not playing music very loud, say $4500 on a scale of whatever that stereo costs.

This issue alone has me contemplating trading the car in. I have never had a Porsche before, and perhaps my expectations are warped, but I have a couple of sub-50k cars that do not make any noise at all.

Hope others chime in... I have had several Porsche in the past 997s 997 997tt Cayenne s Cayenne GTS and not hear of these issues..

Wondering if my interior trim is making the noise when I drive fast and hit a small bump.. if so they need to fix that quick.

PP did some work which required taking the rear door apart, and when I picked it up, I heard a consistent rattle coming from the door. When I took a closer look, they simply hadn't snapped one of the trim pieces all of the way back it. All I did was press, snap...and rattle was gone.

The only other noise a hear is a whistling sound when I hit 75+, but then it goes away at higher speeds

I guess the right wind/speed conditions might cause a natural orchestra to start up!

Have a rattle that emanates from the rear cup holder and the rear console. A little annoying, however only hear these when driving on the pitiful Seattle area freeways.

Don't care how tight your car is, these roads will tear you a new ...............
