Spacer widths with 20" Turbo wheels
#18
Whenever I choose the 20" Turbo IIs on a Turbo S or GTS there is no option for 5mm spacers on the configurator? I know the GTS already has the spacers as "default" but does the Turbo S as well?

For those interested, a year ago, I asked the technician from the factory where they specialise in tailor cutting spacers to come to my Panny 4S and measured the maximum width of the spacers my Panny can take. After measuring for a while, involving pushing down the suspensions, setting the Panny on Sport Plus mode, and taking my Panny's 4WD into consideration, his final verdict was 16mm all round front and back (although I still think my Panny can take 17mm today). Please note, the technician from Porsche was also discouraging my attempt saying things about the geometry, I remember, Porsche only offers 7mm all round front and back spacers for Panamera in general over here in Hong Kong.
Since then my Panny have done nearly 25,000km, tried maintaining a speed range of 150-220km/h for over 2 hours under sunny or rainy days many times over, so far not a glitch, although I had to change 2 complete sets of tyres since then (mainly because of the prolonged high speed got the tyres worn out), the tyres actually never got rubbed by the fenders.
FYI my wheels are 20" Spyder with Michelin PS2

Because of the comment above alone, I ordered the RSS 15mm spacers front and back for my turbo2 wheels. They will be here in a week and I will install them and let y'all know how they work out. Should be t1ts....

I also installed the lowering lever (like some long adjustable screws) to fool the PASM to allow the car to lower further than stock on Sport Plus mode, and just this alone I had to realign the wheels, thanks for reminding me

jtanoyo1, this kind of reminded me, for those with a PASM interested in lowering, there is a price to pay; because of limitation of the geometry, the alignment of the wheels in relation to the camber angle, they can only adjust it to be straight for either the standard settings or the Sport Plus settings, not both. Therefore, should you choose to adjust the "straight" camber angle for the standard settings, when you turn on the Sport Plus mode, then the wheels would "toe in", and vise versa if the other way round... thought you guys should know...
