Gas Mileage in this car is exceptional!

The Highway gas mileage in this car is fantastic! 600+ miles range on a tank. 28+ mpg at 70mph average for 700 miles with some spirited driving! And finally the mpg below 17mpg at an average of 111mph.........more than pleased! How is everyone else feeling about their mileage?

I agree. I have a 4S. I have mostly city driving and use the auto-shutoff feature about 3/4 of the time - my wife freaks out everytime the car shuts off at a stop light - That alone makes it worth it!

Over 900 miles average mpg is 18.6 @ 27 mph average. That is really awesome. I can't wait for a road trip to check out the highway mpg.

My S63 got about 12 mpg at best for the same.

Actually, I was averaging 110 for 90 miles with a max speed of 122mph, which for the Panamera was a cake walk! All legal, easy and fun!

I have no affiliation with the event besides being a participant and since you ask, here is the link!

Sure would be nice to see more Porsches!!!

My turbo got me around 25mpg on a recent road trip. The last sedan I owned with similar power was my E55 and I was lucky to stay in the high teens with a light foot!

Anyone else notice that their car shuts off for about 40 seconds and than kicks right back on when they use the auto start stop...?

I was told it has to do with the exterior temp being 100F and my seats/ac/radio etc are all on....

Any truth to this?

Depends on outside temp. When it's hot the engine kicks back on to run the AC - but since it has cooled off in Michigan now the car stays off until I release the brake - sometimes exceeding a few minutes.
