Thanks! I chose the 612 for one main reason - I have two kids and I like to enjoy my cars with the whole family whenever I can. The 612 does depreciate more than most Ferraris but since I bought mine used, this was actually an advantage. I have the say that I liked the California quite a bit more. Much more modern car with all the creature comforts that we have all come to expect like cruise control, usable navigation and blue tooth, cup holders etc. Plus the California had all the latest technology like the dual clutch transmission which made the car nicer for everyday use. Not to mention that hardtop convertible. It's really a phenomenal car in every way.

I ask also because the 612 depreciation seems to be horrible (not than any non limited production ferrari is great) but was just wondering this as I have never spoken to anyone who owned a 612. I love the California even though some dont. I cant see taking and AMG benz over the California even the SLS. Thanks and best of luck with new car.

Great color choice!! I have the same in 4S and we are certainly the rare in the bunch.

It is just an amazing car to drive, so versatile yet has the go whenever you need it. I am sure you feel it much more than my 4S. Enjoy and post some review!

Cheers,

Thanks guys. I love the blue color with natural interior combo. My 612 was the same combo except it was a lighter blue. The interior is truly stunning, I love it! I am definitely thinking about mods and will check out the paddle shifters!

Absolutely. The power is just phenomenal. I am glad I got the sport Chrono package optioned car. The car just flies when put into the sport plus mode and sounds awesome, especially with sport exhaust on. I haven't tried launching control though and don't really intend to as I plan to drive my car in a regular manner and don't have any plans to take it to the tracks.

Thanks for the answer and it makes a lot of sense. I love the interior on the Panamera great choice with the blue. I know the blue you had on your Scag and it was great as well. Smart moving buying it used as well. As for the california IMO its a trur bargain for what you get compared to other exactics. Like I said I dont know how you anyone would take an SLS over it unless they are tru Benz die hard. The tranny being dual clutch in the Cali makes a HUGE difference compared to the F1 even I know. I really love the look of the California also. Did you have red or another color? I saw a white one at Ferrari in edison with the black and red interior and fell in love with it.

I am also in NJ about an hour or less from where you got the Porsche from. One of my good friends work for Paul Miller BMW. I actually am a BMW client advisor for another BMW dealershp in NJ and used to sell Porsche in the same place until we built a new BMW store. Thanks and you have got some awesome taste in cars best of luck with everything.
