there is a difference between used (10 miles) and new (never touched pavement) Used = Seller doesnt need them and dont intend to make money off of the wheels , New = Seller is selling new wheels and in the business of selling wheels

So, if you buy these wheels from Porsche they will cost $2,000 a rim but you can get a full set from a guy who just wants to get rid of them....pretty simple!

I understand the difference. I'm just saying I didn't mind buying used (10 miles on them) in order to save $1700 from Suncoast or from dealer paying $2000/rim.

I know these businesses are in it to make money and I'm not faulting them. In fact I just spent almost $1K in accessories from Suncoast. But I also believe these forums are around to discuss this and offer solutions for its members to save money and get advise.

Regardless, Suncoast's prices are very reasonable for a new set. I am assuming you bought the Turbo 19s with Contis? Did you make sure they are OEM and not replicas? Which seller did you buy yours from?

I bought them from another dealer and yes they are Original take offs not replicas. They have Contis and yes have the original porsche center cap. I agree the $4000 is a better deal than $2000/wheel but neither is better than $1900/set.

Not sure what the point of this discussion is I agree with everything you are saying. Why cant you see that I made a desicion that I though was best for me. From what I've read on the forums there are many people here who did the same thing as me and buy take offs in order to save money. Just cause I bought a $130K car doesn't mean I dont like to get good value for my dollar.

Did you ever ask if they re-balanced the set after taking out the sensors? Are you going to run the winter set with/wo sensors?

Make sure you re-balance, if they weren't after sensors taken out, before you do the work of putting them on your car!

I was actually looking at that set before you beat me to them

Doesnt matter I got a hold of some cheap TPMS sensors and going to get them installed and rebalanced. There is a set on ebay with TPMS sensors for $1700 shipped. Now thats a better deal than mine.
