My P4S on Flatbed - reliability issues continue to haunt my car
My car is about 10 weeks old - so far it was out of service for 16 days for a recurrent PCM issue and now the saga continues. Now add three to that for the running tally...
Loaded up the wife and kids for dinner Friday and pulled out of the driveway and a big red "reduced engine power" light appears on the mfd. I restart the car and the same occurs so I pull back into my driveway and park - then smoke pours from under the hood.
My four year old says "dad this car breaks a lot" - I just could not be more disappointed. This car has been out of service more in 10 weeks than my past two cars were in 6 years.
So I have it towed to the dealer Saturday morning -fortunately their service was open and will wait for a diagnosis.
On a positive note - the Porsche Roadside Assistance operators and service could not have been more efficient and helpful.

lemon laws vary by state. in michigan its 30 days out of service, or 4 attempts to fix a single issue:

save all receipts and correspondences with the dealer and PCNA.

You would think by now that PCNA would have already of offered to 'trade' for another vehicle with some sort of added bonus for you. Not only is this good customer service, but it would give them a chance to dive deep into researching the issues with your car.
Good Luck.
Good Luck.
