engine shut off feature failed in heavy traffic last night on TT.Took about a minute to restart. Anyone have similar experience?

 

No, I've not had a problem yet. I only use it occasionally (when I anticipate a long wait). I don't want to hasten starter wear.

 

I had it happen once and it wouldn't restart. I ultimately had to take my key out of ignition and restart it. Nothing like performance pressure at a stoplight. That was about 3 months again and it has never happened again and I use it about 1/2 the time.

 

I turn it off entirely. The operation of it is quite annoying.

 

happened once in my S. maybe there's a glitch the ECU didn't catch the release of brake pedal? not sure. it did take few seconds to get it start back up. not a good thing in real time traffic condition...
