Fault Transmission *WARNING*

Has anybody else gotten this message? I got it two days in a row while out on a road trip. Took it in to the dealership and was told they couldn't figure it out. When the car is turned off and back on again the message disappears. The 2nd time it happened the car went into neutral on its own and 7,000 RPM. I don't use the paddle shifter's because they suck and I haven't upgraded to TechArt version. I did have the cruise control on each time it happened so I'm not sure if that played a role or not.

Welcome to the world of computer glitches, with all the information bouncing around on the data buses some interference can leak in. If the shop can't find the cause it could be some form of external interference. Just wait until we get to the sunspot maximum due shortly, we may find a lot of this.
