Lowering links "trick" the factory ECU into thinking it's at a different height, so the computer will compensate for the height by lowering. This only works on vehicles with air suspension. Lowering springs are for vehicles with conventional steel springs. Turbos have the air suspension as standard equipment and the air suspension is optional on all the other models. That help?
